New Documentary Film in Production

COGfilm has partnered with The Lincoln Project to co-produce a new feature length documentary film called War In Heaven, War On Earth.

War In Heaven, War On Earth will be a feature length documentary film that explores the converging experiences of a nation at war and the formation of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, a religious group who found themselves wrestling with the questions of conscientious objection, the spectre of slavery, and the myriad social and political issues of the time. As the Civil War engulfed America, the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists was established, and the issues of faith and duty to country clashed as conflict threatened to divide both nation and church.

Featuring beautiful cinematography, historical re-enactment, and thoughtful interviews, the film will artfully examine a microcosm of religious, civilian and military experiences during the Civil War, expanding our understanding of a momentous and pivotal time in American history.

COGfilm Provides Web Marketing Services to Peoria Seventh-day Adventist Church

COGfilm provided marketing services to the Peoria Seventh-day Adventist Church to raise awareness of the One Day Prophecy Seminar hosted by Pastor Clarence Small on October 8, 2011. Key components of the marketing campaign included creating a website for online registration, a video trailer, a radio ad, graphic design for print materials, and a targeted Facebook ad campaign.

This campaign was experimental for the church, but the new marketing endeavors worked very well, providing a much higher return on investment than traditional systems such as mailings and door hangers.
